Registering or updating voter records
If you have moved to Sumner County from any other county in TN or from another state you will be required to complete a new registration to be eligible to vote in Sumner County. The registration deadline is 30 days prior to each election. TCA 2-2-109 (a) You are welcome to register in person, go online, or use printable form as well as register when at the DMV.
Click HERE to start the online process. Otherwise, you can use the printable version and mail or bring to our office. Either method can be also be used to make name or address changes to your existing registration.
To confirm whether you are registered click HERE, or call the Sumner County Election Commission office 615-452-1456 to confirm and obtain a duplicate voter card if needed.
